Summer Fun

Here we are in the middle of July and we are wondering how your summer is going?  

Are you having fun?

A New England summer offers so many options.

There are beaches and swimming in the ocean.  Too cold?  The lakes are beautiful and tend to be warmer.

Every community has different events they offer.  In Marblehead it’s the Festival of Arts over the Fourth of July weekend.

What does your community offer?

State parks offer fun hikes and places for having a picnic.  You can travel to a state park and back in a day for a day trip.

Cape Cod is a local great place to visit. 

There are lots of communities and weekly rentals, affordable ones too.  You can enjoy the beach, miniature golf, boating and of course shopping and dining out.

Are you watching your budget?  Camping is a great way to spend quality time with your family and it’s not hard on the pocketbook. 

Tents are awesome but you can also rent a camper too.

You may be adventurous and decide to travel this summer.  Canada is a drive away with ferries.  They have them from Portland, ME to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

The traveling gets broader if you’re able to catch a plane.  The options are never ending!
